The Blank Page

A poem about anxiety and the strive for more fruitful creativity.

Looking at a blank page,

Is like starting again,

A fresh start,

Which invokes my heart, to create something new,

Something for me, something for you.

Looking at a blank page,

Makes me anxious,

A little nauseous, even

Which makes me cautious, of what to do,

Something for me, or something for you.

Looking at a blank page,

Makes me motivated,

To see what will be created,

Which leaves me captivated, without a clue,

Of whether it will be something for me or something for you.
